1. Citizenship

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen or OCI cardholder (approved by competent authority).
• OCI candidates will be eligible only for unreserved (general) category seats.

2. Age Limit for WBJEE 2026

• Minimum Age: Candidate must be 17 years old as on 31st December 2026 (born on or before 31.12.2009).
• Upper Age Limit:
  • No upper age limit for Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, or Architecture courses.
  • For Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31 December 2026.

3. WBJEE 2026 Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Class 12) examination in 2026 from a recognised board.

• Physics and Mathematics are compulsory.
• Along with any one of the following:

Course-Wise WBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

A. For Engineering & Technology Courses

• Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one optional subject from the list above.
• Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
• Passed English with 30% marks.

B. For Pharmacy Courses
